The English language has always fascinated me.  There are so many rules, yet, it seems, just as many exceptions. To further confuse things, there are different rules for the different style guides. Plus, there is often more than one correct way to phrase or punctuate something, but which way is most effective? Ah, my calm resides within this chaos. For me, finding the most effective way to make a point or tell a story is like a puzzle, with each piece being a different word. The right combinations of word choice and structure reveal a clear story/picture.  This is where my passion lies, finding just the right combinations to help authors tell their best stories.

My greatest passion in life, however, is my family. I have been married to my best friend for over twenty years, and I am mom to the four best kids in the world. I also enjoy reading, hiking, crafting, photography, all things tea, and did I mention reading?
